About Moshin Vineyards

Moshin Vineyards is one of Westside Road's most underrated and genuinely welcoming estate producers. Founded in 1990 by Rick Moshin, an engineer who made wine as a hobby for years before going professional, the winery produces estate Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Zinfandel from their hilltop Westside Road property with a focus on terroir-driven, minimal-intervention winemaking.

The setting is spectacular, a hilltop tasting room with panoramic views of the Russian River Valley corridor, the forested ridges beyond, and on clear days, the distant coastal range. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-oriented, with picnic tables and a genuine welcoming spirit that's sometimes harder to find on the more famous stretch of Westside Road between Gary Farrell and Rochioli.

Moshin is also one of the last significant producers on Westside Road to accept walk-ins most days, making it an ideal discovery stop for visitors exploring the corridor without pre-arranged reservations.

Moshin Vineyards presents a featured lineup that includes Estate Pinot Noir, Hillside Pinot Noir, Estate Chardonnay, and Estate Zinfandel. Together, these bottles provide a focused introduction to the varieties, vineyard sources, and style that define the winery's current portfolio.
