Mt Tehama Winery farms a dry-farmed estate vineyard in the volcanic Manton Valley, on soils born of the Lassen and Shasta volcanic landscape, ground the family ripped deeply before planting to mix hard rock through the root zone.
The dry-farming commitment on that fractured volcanic base defines the wines: roots forced deep, yields kept honest, mountain character undiluted.
