About Norumbega Cidery
Norumbega Cidery operates from a farm property in New Gloucester, producing craft hard ciders from heirloom and traditional apple varieties grown in Maine. The cidery takes its name from the legendary Norse settlement said to have existed in the region, connecting the products to Maine's deep history. The ciders are made with attention to variety and terroir, and the farmstead setting provides a genuine agricultural backdrop for tastings. New Gloucester is close enough to Portland for an easy excursion but feels fully rural.
