About Onesta Wines
Onesta is Jillian Johnson DeLeon's love letter to Lodi's old vines, above all the Bechthold Vineyard, the 1886 planting of Cinsault that ranks among the oldest of its kind on earth, from which she crafts a celebrated varietal Cinsault and rose. Her small label champions heritage sites with a light, modern hand.
Onesta means honest in Italian, and the wines keep the promise: transparent, fresh expressions of vines that predate the automobile. Lodi's ancient heart, gently poured.
