About Peake Ranch Winery
Peake Ranch sits on Santa Rosa Road, the valley-floor run through the Sta. Rita Hills that channels marine air inland from the Pacific and gives this stretch some of the coolest growing conditions in California.
The winery is modern and deliberately understated, set in one of the prettier parts of the corridor about ten minutes from Buellton.
One practical thing to know before setting out: there is no food service. The winery is explicit that guests are welcome to bring their own picnic instead, so the usual advice is to pick something up in Buellton on the way through.
