About Pennyroyal Farm
Pennyroyal Farm is one of California's most genuinely integrated farm-to-table wine destinations — and one of the Anderson Valley's most charming and complete visitor experiences. Sarah and Bink Crozier established the Boonville Highway 128 estate in 2010 as a working goat dairy and artisan cheesemaking operation alongside an estate vineyard producing Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc, creating the kind of complete agricultural ecosystem where wine and food emerge from the same family-farmed land.
The goat herd grazes between the vineyard rows, providing natural fertilization and the fresh milk for the on-site creamery's artisan cheeses — Laychee, Bollie's Mollies, and other Anderson Valley-specific cheeses that have earned recognition from San Francisco cheese professionals and Anderson Valley visitors alike. The farm's cheese paired with the estate's Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc creates one of California's most genuinely local and integrated tasting experiences.
The daily visitor experience — dogs and families welcome, picnic grounds available, farm animals accessible for children — captures the authentic agricultural character of the Anderson Valley before it became a wine destination, and the vision of what genuine farm-to-table wine country experience can mean when one family produces both the cheese and the wine from the same land.
