About Pey-Marin Vineyards
Pey-Marin is coastal-fringe conviction: Jonathan and Susan Pey planted dry-farmed vineyards in Marin County's cold, marginal hills, producing The Shell Mound Riesling and small-lot Pinot Noir that proved the county's fog line could make wines of real cut and character.
Marin's wine acreage is tiny and heroic, and the Peys became its standard-bearers, organic-minded farming included. West of cool, and proud of it.
