About Phifer Pavitt Wine
Phifer Pavitt Wine was founded by Suzanne Phifer Pavitt and her husband Shane Pavitt, who discovered their 23-acre hillside property near Calistoga in 1998 and released their first vintage in 2005. The property's tasting room occupies a relocated 1907 building originally moved from Franz Valley in Sonoma County.
The winery farms 2.5 estate acres of Cabernet Sauvignon planted in 2012, supplementing it with fruit from the Temple and Juliana vineyards in Pope Valley and the Grigsby Vineyard near Yountville. Best known for its Date Night Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc, the winery also produces a small reserve Cabernet program and, through a separate partnership, Phifer Pavitt Bourbon.
