Pineywoods Vineyard captures the essence of Deep East Texas through its wines and its beautifully renovated historic tasting room in downtown Hemphill. Founded in 2018 by Chris and Jordan Cox on family land in Sabine County, the winery has transformed generations of family farming into a wine destination that serves the underserved Deep East Texas market.

The tasting room combines Art Nouveau charm with modern elegance in a setting that feels both historic and fresh. The Cox family's sustainable farming practices and their commitment to showcasing the character of Deep East Texas terroir — the sandy, piney soils of Sabine County — give the wines a genuine sense of local identity.
