The I-5 corridor now carries the region's headline: New Clairvaux Vineyard, where Trappist monks farm ground from Leland Stanford's great Vina ranch and pour daily at both the abbey estate and a downtown Redding room open to 7pm, with Burnsini's Cottonwood estate and Redding's own Moseley Family Cellars and garden-set Matson filling the corridor between. East of Redding, Whitmore's mountain pair, Dakaro Cellars and U-pick Lavineyard Farms, pours in the pines; Trinity County offers a true circuit with One Maple at Lewiston, Alpen Cellars' high-country estate at Trinity Center and seasonal Cavaletto above the river at Salyer.
