Renteria Wines is named for Oscar Renteria, his Mexican-heritage family surname placed on a Napa Valley wine project that tells an important story about who shapes California's most prestigious wine region. The Renteria family has been in Napa Valley viticulture for decades: Oscar Renteria's career as a vineyard manager included some of the valley's most celebrated estates, where his farming decisions shaped wines that earned perfect scores and cult status.

Renteria Wines is Oscar's declaration that the person who tends the vines deserves to make wine under his own name. The Renteria family's relationship with Napa Valley's vineyard land is as deep as any estate owner's, the difference is the name on the bottle, and with his own label, that distinction disappears.

The estate produces Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon from vineyard sources where Oscar Renteria's farming expertise gives him access to exceptional fruit, made with the same care that defined his vineyard management work.
