About Rewa Vineyards
REWA Vineyards is a small estate winery on a 43-acre knoll in Coombsville, the volcanic-soiled AVA in southeastern Napa Valley. Indian-born entrepreneur Gajendra Singh (G.S.) Sareen discovered the property, then called Blue Oak Hill, while driving through the area and purchased it in 2012, naming the estate 'Rewa' after his wife; the winery released its first commercial vintage in 2015.
Winemaking is led by veteran consulting winemaker Celia Welch, who was named Food & Wine's Winemaker of the Year in 2008, working alongside winemaker Jess McDowell, viticulturist Amanda Arnold, and vineyard manager Mike Wolf. Production is intentionally tiny, roughly 500 cases of estate Cabernet Sauvignon-based blends and under 200 cases of Sauvignon Blanc a year, with labels featuring a sword-hilt design drawn from Sareen family heritage.
