About Ridge Vineyards Paso Robles
Ridge opened this Paso Robles tasting room in 2025, on Ramada Drive alongside the Tin City cluster, and it is the winery's third place to taste after the Monte Bello estate in the Santa Cruz Mountains and Lytton Springs in Dry Creek Valley. The room is new; the connection to the region is not.
Ridge first made Zinfandel from the Dusi Ranch vineyard in 1967, and with its 1976 release became the first winery to print Paso Robles on a label as a designated region. More than fifty vintages later it still bottles a single-vineyard Dusi Ranch Zinfandel from those old head-trained vines.
Flights here deliberately range across the whole Ridge map rather than staying local, setting Santa Cruz Mountains and Sonoma County bottlings beside the Paso fruit so the differences between the three are the point of the visit.
