About RN Estate Vineyard & Winery
RN Estate is an intimate hilltop winery north of Paso Robles, the personal project of Roger Nicolas, a Brittany-born former restaurateur who turned his passion into small-lot, elegant wines. He crafts estate Bordeaux-style blends alongside rare (for Paso) Burgundian-style Pinot Noir sourced from the Sta. Rita Hills and Santa Maria Valley, all with French restraint, balance, and a focus on food.
Tastings are private and by appointment, often hosted by Roger himself in his own dining room, with sweeping views over the rolling countryside and, on occasion, a superb spread of cheese and charcuterie. Understated and personal, it is regularly cited as one of Paso's most memorable tasting experiences.
