About Rippey at Lodi Vintners
Rippey at Lodi Vintners is the tasting room for the Rippey family portfolio, set inside what is billed as Lodi's oldest winery. The stone building at 3750 East Woodbridge Road in Acampo dates to 1903, when it served as the shipping and receiving building for the Urgon Winery, and it was reopened as a modern-rustic tasting room in 2016.
The room pours the full Rippey family lineup, including the Rippey Family Vineyards, Reign, Concrete, and SIP labels, with fruit from both Lodi and Napa Valley vineyards. The wines have earned serious recognition: the 2023 Rippey Family Vineyards Grenache, from the Abba Vineyard in Lodi, was named Best Red of Show at the 2025 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.
The grounds are a draw in their own right, with a three-tier fountain, shaded picnic tables, a lawn, two bocce courts, and games. Kids are always welcome in the picnic areas, and the room is open seven days a week with extended Friday hours.
