The Spring Mountain District estate declares this founding partnership as additive rather than blended: two distinct identities combined to produce something more than either would achieve separately. The Spring Mountain estate produces Cabernet Sauvignon from volcanic and sedimentary mountain soils at 1,200 to 1,800 feet elevation, where the Mayacamas Range's extreme diurnal temperature swings and ancient volcanic substrate produce Cabernet of intense mineral concentration and structural elevation.
