About Rosella's Vineyard
Rosella's Vineyard takes its name from Rex's mother Rosella, who passed away in 1998, and many of the wines carry Hawaiian names in tribute to her, since Hawaii was her favorite place to visit. The small, family owned winery produces about 800 cases a year in the Applegate Valley, focused on Red Blends, Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel.
Tastings happen in a small room known for friendly conversation, and the person pouring is often the winemaker. The winery is free to taste at, open daily from 11am to 5pm, with a 48 hour notice requested for groups of eight or more.
