Rosenblum Cellars — Healdsburg

Rosenblum Cellars was founded in 1978 by Dr. Kent Rosenblum — a veterinarian turned winemaker whose obsession with Zinfandel from California's diverse old-vine sites built one of the most extensive single-varietal programs in California history. At its peak, Rosenblum produced over 20 different single-vineyard Zinfandels annually from appellations ranging from Dry Creek Valley and Alexander Valley to Contra Costa County and Paso Robles.

The Healdsburg tasting room on Matheson Street opened to great fanfare, offering visitors the opportunity to taste across the full geographic breadth of California Zinfandel in a single sitting — an education in how dramatically different this variety can express itself in different California terroirs.

Now part of the Diageo portfolio, Rosenblum continues the single-vineyard Zinfandel program with the same breadth that Dr. Kent established. The downtown Healdsburg location makes it one of the most conveniently situated Zinfandel-focused tasting experiences in wine country.

At its Multi-Appellation, Sonoma County location, Rosenblum Cellars — Healdsburg presents a featured lineup that includes Rockpile Road Vineyard Zinfandel, Maggie's Reserve Zinfandel, Harris Kratka Vineyard Zinfandel, and Contra Costa County Zinfandel.
