Founded in 1988 by Casey and Vicky McClellan, the winery farms its own estate vineyard blocks on the slope that gave it its name.
The Seven Hills Vineyard, which the McClellan family helped establish and develop from the late 1980s, has become the source material for benchmark wines from multiple Walla Walla producers including L'Ecole No 41, Pepper Bridge, and Leonetti Cellar. Seven Hills Winery's own bottlings from the estate offer the most direct expression of this historic site's character.
