About Sierra Roble Winery
Sierra Roble is a small family owned winery on Highway 79 in Warner Springs, established in 2013 in the high backcountry of northeast San Diego County. The husband and wife team grows and sources Bordeaux varietals, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec and even Carmenere, farmed with organic materials and sustainability in mind.
The outdoor tasting patio looks out in every direction across the Warner Springs valley, and the winery sits on the same Highway 79 wine run as several other backcountry producers. San Diego County wine runs on small family properties, many open only Friday through Sunday. Confirm current hours, tasting fees and reservation policies with the winery before you go.
