About Simoncini Vineyards

Simoncini Vineyards is one of Dry Creek Valley's most intimate and personal wine destinations — a small, family-owned estate on West Dry Creek Road in Healdsburg where limited-production wines are celebrated alongside the beauty and quietness of Sonoma County's most storied valley. The Simoncini family's roots in this landscape run deep: their nonno Tony arrived from Genoa, Italy in 1907 with his brothers Carlo and Freddy, settling in the valley to farm peaches, prunes, and wine grapes. That century-old agricultural heritage infuses everything about the estate today.

The winery, established in 2002, was built entirely by local artisans — a reflection of the family's commitment to craftsmanship in everything from the architecture to the wine. The tasting experience centers on their atmospheric wine cave, where visitors taste among barrels in a setting that evokes the family's Italian origins. Their "Cicheti" wine and food pairing — named after the Venetian tradition of small bites served at bácari — features five seasonal pairings plus a chef's surprise, available Fridays through Sundays. A creekside tasting area offers an alternative setting for those who prefer to be outdoors.

Simoncini sources premium fruit from across Sonoma County's finest appellations — Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Zinfandel from Dry Creek Valley, Russian River Valley, Alexander Valley, and the Rockpile AVA. Every grape is hand-farmed and hand-picked. The wines are available exclusively to wine club members and direct from the winery, making a visit to the estate the only way most people will ever encounter them. For visitors seeking the kind of intimate, unhurried wine experience that Sonoma County was built on, Simoncini delivers exactly that.
