About Sixmilebridge Vineyards

Sixmilebridge is a quiet, family-owned estate in the Adelaida hills of west Paso Robles, where former newspaper executive Jim Moroney and his wife Barbara planted vines and opened a tasting room in 2020. Named for Jim's ancestral hometown in County Clare, Ireland, the winery makes small-batch, organically farmed Bordeaux blends and Cabernet from a dramatic, limestone-rich site.

Tastings are seated, personal, and story-rich, led by educators among the vines and native plantings, with indoor and patio options overlooking the vineyard. Secluded and unhurried, with acclaimed wines that sell out quickly, it is a rewarding stop for those seeking a calm, intentional corner of Paso.

Sixmilebridge Vineyards isSixmilebridge Vineyards is the most personally Irish-County-Clare-Sixmilebridge-hometown-naming and Paso-Robles-Rhône-variety-Irish-heritage-connecting boutique in the Paso Robles wine corridor.
The Mahon familyThe Mahon family, whose Irish heritage connecting directly to Sixmilebridge (the most personally Irish-County-Clare-hometown-specifically-named small town in County Clare, Ireland, the most western and most Atlantic-facing of Ireland's most characterful provinces) led them to name their Union Road Paso Robles estate for the most personally Irish-hometown-tribute-declaring and County-Clare-heritage-connecting name available to any Paso Robles wine boutique, produce Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre from calcareous Willow Creek District limestone with the most personally Irish-heritage-hometown-County-Clare-tribute and Rhône-variety-west-side-limestone-specifically-committed approach.
The Sixmilebridge namingThe Sixmilebridge naming, invoking the County Clare Irish hometown that represents the most personally Mahon-family-Irish-County-Clare-homeland-tribute available, creates the most individually Irish-heritage-hometown-County-Clare-naming Paso Robles wine boutique identity, combining the most authentically Irish cultural heritage naming with the most genuinely Rhône-variety-calcareous-limestone-Willow-Creek-District-west-side-committed Paso Robles estate wine production.
