About Sinor-LaVallee
Sinor-LaVallee is the ultra-coastal label of Mike Sinor, founding winemaker of Ancient Peaks, and his wife Cheri LaVallee. Their estate Bassi Vineyard sits barely a mile from the Pacific near Avila Beach, one of the closest-to-the-ocean vineyards in California, where relentless wind and fog forge intensely flavored, naturally bright Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah and sparkling wine.
Sinor's decades of Central Coast winemaking inform a low-intervention approach built around the extreme site, and the wines pour in a casual tasting room in downtown Avila Beach, steps from the sand. For a taste of the emerging SLO Coast at its most maritime, Sinor-LaVallee is the reference point.
