About Sokol Blosser Winery
Sokol Blosser Winery is one of the founding estates of Oregon's now-celebrated wine industry. In 1971, Susan Sokol and Bill Blosser planted their first five acres of vines in the Dundee Hills at a time when a commercial wine industry did not yet exist in the state. More than fifty years later, the family-owned estate has grown to over 128 acres of organically farmed vineyards, earned B Corp certification, and played a defining role in shaping the Willamette Valley into one of the world's premier Pinot Noir regions. The second generation, siblings Alex and Alison Sokol Blosser, now lead the winery.
The estate is renowned for its sustainability leadership. Its underground barrel cellar was the first LEED-certified winery building in the country, solar panels provide a third of the winery's energy, and native plants throughout the vineyards attract beneficial insects. The portfolio spans estate Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Riesling, Muller-Thurgau, and the popular Evolution white and red blends. The hilltop tasting room offers sweeping views across the Willamette Valley to the Coast Range, and visitors can choose from seated flights, a Farm and Forage culinary experience, behind-the-scenes estate tours, and a walk-in wine bar with Friday happy hours. Dogs are welcome on leash in outdoor spaces.
