About St. Anne's Crossing
St. Anne's Crossing is Sonoma Valley's premier terroir-driven Zinfandel house, set in the heart of the valley in Kenwood, across from Chateau St. Jean, on a property that was once the original St. Francis Winery. It opened in 2012 as the brainchild of Ken and Diane Wilson, and it's the only Sonoma Valley member of their well-known Wilson Artisan Wines family.
The whole concept is built around tasting through Sonoma's many terroirs: the winery offers more than a dozen, sometimes close to two dozen, single-vineyard Zinfandels sourced from small vineyards across Sonoma Valley, Dry Creek, Alexander and Russian River, so you can savor the nuanced differences in the same grape grown just miles apart. Beyond Zin there are whites, sparkling, big reds and Bordeaux varietals, crafted by multi-sweepstakes-winning winemaker Chris Barrett.
The experience is small, intimate and educational, with a shaded back patio looking out on vineyards and mountains. Picnics and friendly dogs are welcome, and Wilson club members taste for free across the whole family of wineries.
