About Stone Ashe Vineyard

Stone Ashe terraces Hendersonville's Bordeaux bet: the Green Mountain Road estate planted steep, rocky high-elevation slopes to Cabernet and Bordeaux varieties with Old World severity, quick critical notice making the young mountain vineyard the region's serious arrival. Tastings pour weekend-forward hours on the slopes, and the young estate's allocations reward early arrivals.

Slope severity and Bordeaux focus built fast credibility. The mountain argues Left Bank.

Stone Ashe is the Crest of the Blue Ridge’s proof that North Carolina means more than muscadine: the Little family chose this rocky 2,700-foot Hendersonville slope in 2010 with soil scientist Alex Blackburn and viticulturalist Lucy Morton for its French-vineyard profile - steep drainage, cool nights for acidity, warm days for sugar. USA Today named it one of the 10 best new wineries in America in 2022. The signatures are two Bordeaux-style blends, right-bank Davenport and left-bank Coppedge Hill, alongside a deliberately Chablis-styled Chardonnay.
