About Tamber Bey Vineyards
Tamber Bey Vineyards combines a Napa winery with an active equestrian ranch on Tubbs Lane in Calistoga. Guests taste in a courtyard beside the horse stalls, creating a setting that is meaningfully different from a château, cave salon or downtown tasting room. The ranch identity is not decorative; the visitor program includes opportunities to see the stables and understand how wine production and the equestrian property share the site.
The Courtyard Tasting currently ranges from $50 to $75 depending on the selected flight. A Cabernet-focused flight is approximately $125. The Equestrian Connection Tour and Tasting adds a guided walk through the crush pad, barrel room and stables before the courtyard tasting, with prices around $75 to $100. A private Collector's Tasting is listed at $150 and requires direct booking. Cheese and charcuterie can be added, and the winery can arrange a picnic lunch prepared by a local partner with at least 72 hours' notice.
All guests must be age 21 or older. Leashed pets are welcomed under the current policy. Outside food and beverages are prohibited, so the arranged picnic should not be confused with a bring-your-own-food amenity. Larger groups and private events require coordination with the winery.
Tamber Bey is ideal for adult travelers who enjoy horses, distinctive settings and a broad choice of tasting depth. Visitors should select the ranch tour if meeting the horses and seeing production spaces are important; a standard courtyard flight should not be described as including the full tour. Calistoga heat can affect outdoor comfort, and appropriate footwear is useful for the tour. The page should present the ranch, wine and food options accurately while keeping each reservation's inclusions separate.

Tastings alongside grazing horses, guests taste wine in the property's original barn clubhouse, often mingling with the Waittes' Arabian endurance racehorses and other resident horses.

Two estate vineyards, two appellations, the winery's Cabernet Sauvignon comes from an 11-acre Oakville site and a 60-acre Yountville vineyard called Deux Chevaux, French for "two horses."
"Wino Notion likes that the working horse ranch is genuinely integrated into the visit rather than added as a theme. Guests can choose a simple courtyard flight, an equestrian tour, a planned picnic or a serious collector tasting."
