About Tatomer Wines
Graham Tatomer bet his career on Riesling: after apprenticing in Austria's Wachau with the famed Knoll family, he returned to Santa Barbara to make dry, stony, Austrian-inflected Riesling and Gruner Veltliner from cool county sites like Kick-on Ranch, building California's most convincing case for the varieties. Pinot Noir joined the list without diluting the thesis.
The wines are taut, mineral and built to age, beloved by sommeliers who thought California couldn't do this. It can; Tatomer proved it.
