About Thal Vineyards
Thal Vineyards cultivates more than two thousand vines in the Lafayette hills, primarily Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc, one of Lamorinda's most substantial plantings hidden among the residential ridges.
There is no separate visitor pin: tasting runs through Local Vines on Mount Diablo Boulevard, where Thal pours alongside its fellow hillside producers.
The scale makes Thal the anchor pour of a Local Vines visit; ask for it first and calibrate the AVA from there.
Two thousand hillside vines you cannot see from the road, tasted downtown at Local Vines.
