Tug Hill pours the snow belt's answer: the Lowville estate ferments cold-hardy grapes and famous local maple into wines and creams at the plateau's edge, lake-effect country's own cellar. The tasting room pours year-round despite the famous snows, and the maple-wine flights give downstate visitors a genuinely local souvenir.
