About Valley View Winery
Valley View Winery is one of the pioneering estates of Southern Oregon, founded in 1976 in the Applegate Valley near the historic gold rush town of Jacksonville. The winery helped establish the Rogue and Applegate Valleys as legitimate wine regions and continues to produce estate wines from vineyards planted on the warm, well-drained slopes above the Applegate River. The portfolio includes Tempranillo, Viognier, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Chardonnay.
The tasting room on Upper Applegate Road offers a scenic, country-road setting surrounded by vineyards and oak-studded hillsides. Valley View's nearly five decades of continuous production make it a living benchmark for what Southern Oregon terroir can achieve.
