Vinca Minor Wines — Anderson Valley Winery & Tasting Room

Vinca Minor Wines is named for the Vinca minor — the periwinkle, the small evergreen flowering plant with its distinctive blue-purple flowers that is used as ground cover in shade gardens throughout the temperate world. The minor (Latin for smaller, lesser) in the botanical name creates a philosophy of deliberate smallness: the boutique that embraces the minor scale, the smaller production, the less-than-grand format as a value rather than a limitation. The Anderson Valley boutique produces Pinot Noir and Riesling from Pacific-cooled maritime Mendocino County vineyard sources.
