About Vincent Vineyards and Winery

Vincent is a family-owned estate on North Refugio Road, growing and bottling its own fruit rather than buying it in. The focus is French Cabernet varieties - Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot - alongside a limited-production Sauvignon Blanc, a Syrah and the V Cuvee blend.

It is one of the few Santa Ynez wineries that has deliberately built for families. Children get sparkling grape juice and activities, and the winery was picked out by the Los Angeles Times in a piece on Californian wineries all generations can enjoy.

The tasting room, Club V, runs seven days a week from 11am to 5pm and closes only on Thanksgiving and Christmas, which is about as reliable as opening hours get in this valley.

One rule to plan around: no outside food is permitted.
