Westport Rivers Vineyard & Winery

Westport Rivers Vineyard and Winery is the largest vineyard in New England, with over 80 acres of vinifera grapes planted on a farm property in Westport on the SouthCoast of Massachusetts. The Russell family has been growing grapes here since 1986, and the winery has earned a national reputation for its sparkling wines, which rival those from more established wine regions. The maritime climate of the SouthCoast, moderated by Buzzards Bay and the Gulf Stream, allows Westport Rivers to successfully grow European grape varieties including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Riesling at a latitude where most assume it cannot be done. The tasting room and event space host weddings, festivals, and farm-to-table dinners, and the property's Long Acre Farm provides additional agricultural context.
