About Wy'East Vineyards
Wy'East Vineyards is a family-owned winery in the Columbia River Gorge named for the Native American name for Mount Hood. The estate produces Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Barbera, Sangiovese, and Grenache from vineyards on the warm slopes above Hood River, where the Gorge's unique wind patterns and volcanic soils create growing conditions distinct from anywhere else in Oregon.
The tasting room on Highway 35 south of Hood River offers Mount Hood views and a welcoming atmosphere. Wy'East has built a following for wines that capture the warmth and character of the Gorge while maintaining the elegance Oregon is known for.
