About A to Z Wineworks
A to Z was founded in 2002 by an Oregon dream team, Deb Hatcher of Adelsheim, Bill Hatcher who built Domaine Drouhin Oregon, and winemakers Sam Tannahill and Cheryl Francis, on a then-radical idea: blend across the whole state to make honest, delicious Pinot Noir at a fair price. The Aristocratic Wines of Everyday Quality pitch worked; A to Z grew into one of Oregon's largest and most awarded brands.
A certified B Corporation headquartered at Rex Hill, the house proved value and integrity could scale together, putting Oregon Pinot on weeknight tables nationwide. Democracy, Burgundian style.
