About Anarchy Wine Co.
Anarchy Wine Co. is a boutique Paso Robles winery from winemaker Christian Tietje, a founding partner at Four Vines. The label began as a one-off Rhone-style Zinfandel blend; after being told he could not pour it at a festival because it lacked the right pedigree, Tietje poured it anyway with an anarchy symbol on the bottle, and it became a breakout hit.
That spirit grew into a line of rule-breaking wines the industry nicknamed "the Freaks," including Anarchy, Heretic, Monarchy, Peasant and ZinBitch, built around bold Rhone, Bordeaux and Zinfandel blends. The tasting room sits at 3310 Ramada Drive, Suite B, at the entrance to Tin City in Paso Robles.
The tasting room is generally open Friday through Sunday from 11am to 5pm, with some additional weekday hours, in a laid-back, unpretentious setting. Hours can change, so it is worth confirming current details with the winery before visiting.
