About Aramenta Cellars
Aramenta Cellars is a small, family-owned winery perched high on Ribbon Ridge, one of the Willamette Valley's most prized AVAs for Pinot Noir, in the heart of Yamhill County wine country near Newberg. Owners and winemakers Ed and Darlene run a genuinely hands-on operation, specializing in small-quantity, handcrafted Pinot Noir.
The estate spans roughly 27 acres planted almost entirely to Pinot Noir, farmed and vinified with traditional, low-intervention methods, organic crushing and fermentation, native character, minimal manipulation, and less than a year in barrel. The family often holds back vintages, offering guests a chance to taste older, more resolved releases in the tasting room.
The setting is a quiet, rustic retreat: a hilltop perch with sweeping vineyard views and a spring-fed trout pond, with indoor and outdoor seating. Welcoming visitors seven days a week, Aramenta is the kind of personal, unhurried Ribbon Ridge hidden gem where the owners themselves often pour.
