About Artisanal Wine Cellars
Artisanal Wine Cellars earned a spot on Wine Spectator's Eight New Names to Know in February 2015, built on a simple philosophy: stay out of the way of the vineyard. Pinot Noir is the favorite here, handled with minimal intervention, uninoculated fermentation and no added malolactic bacteria, alongside Gamay Noir, Tempranillo, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay.
The tasting room sits in historic Old Town Newberg, midway between Portland and the rest of Oregon wine country, within walking distance of other tasting rooms and restaurants. Hours run Friday through Monday, closed Tuesday through Thursday, with appointments encouraged and walk ins taken on Saturday and Sunday as scheduling allows.
