Bells Up Winery

Bells Up Winery is a micro-production estate in the Chehalem Mountains crafting wines with a musician's sensibility. Founded by Dave and Sara Specter, the winery's name and wine labels draw from the language of orchestral music, where "bells up" is a conductor's direction for horn players to project their sound outward. Dave, a former intellectual property attorney, brings the same precision to winemaking that he once applied to legal briefs, producing Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Syrah, and a Rhone-style white blend in quantities that rarely exceed 500 cases.

Tastings are by appointment only and deeply personal, typically hosted by Dave or Sara in their intimate estate tasting room.
