About Bennett Lane Winery
Bennett Lane Winery was founded by Randy and Lisa Lynch, who had no prior wine industry background before falling in love with wine on trips to Italy. They purchased the existing Vigil Vineyards property at the northern tip of Napa Valley near Calistoga, close to the Sonoma County line, and released their first wine, a red blend named Maximus after the Roman emperor Magnus Maximus.
The estate farms about 7 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon around the winery plus additional acreage at the Lynch family's nearby Calistoga ranch. Bennett Lane has earned dozens of 90-plus scores from Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, and Robert Parker's Wine Advocate over the years.
