About Celani Family Vineyards
Celani Family Vineyards began as an homage to a family tradition of table winemaking rooted in Detroit's Eastern Market. Founder Tom Celani discovered the Big Ranch Road estate in 2004 and established the winery the following year to carry that heritage into Napa Valley, with the next generation of the family now involved in running it.
Winemaker Mark Herold crafts a small-production lineup built around estate-grown Merlot, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Franc, supplemented by Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from Coombsville and Mount Veeder vineyards. Flagship bottlings include The Family Cabernet Sauvignon and Ardore Cabernet Sauvignon, distributed mainly through the estate's two-tier membership program.
