About Chenoweth Wines
Chenoweth Wines is Bill Chenoweth's personal Pinot Noir and Chardonnay project — his Welsh-heritage family surname (Chenoweth being a Cornish-Welsh topographic name meaning 'new dwelling') placed on wines from Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast vineyard sources selected for their maritime influence and site-specific character.
Bill Chenoweth's winemaking approach is characterized by restraint and transparency: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that reveal their site character without obscuring it with technical manipulation. The Russian River Valley's daily fog corridor and the Sonoma Coast's more extreme maritime influence both produce fruit of the natural acidity and aromatic precision that Chenoweth's minimal-intervention style preserves.
The appointment-only tasting keeps the scale personal, consistent with a label that carries the winemaker's own Welsh-heritage name.
