About Corbeaux Wine & Tea House
Corbeaux Wine & Tea House is the Old Town tasting home of Matin Du Bois Vintners, the Schneider family winery whose Temecula vineyard, planted in 1975, ranks among the valley's oldest. What began as a small batch of home-grown wine in 2004 became a family label released in 2010 by winemaker Patrick Schneider, and a generation later his daughter Regan Schneider, who started making wine at 22, expanded the line and opened Corbeaux on Second Street in 2023.
The concept intertwines French and Asian cultures: more than thirty loose-leaf teas from Japan, China and India, French-style winemaking including an Old Vine Merlot from the 1975 plantings, a Ramato Pinot Grigio and a growing line of natural wines, plus tea and wine cocktails and select imports. Executive chef-driven menus weave tea into hyper-seasonal French and Asian inspired small bites, with afternoon tea and lunch by day and a prix fixe dinner in the evening.
A team of sommeliers hosts monthly high teas and wine pairing dinners, and the graceful room manages to feel like a tea salon and a wine lounge at once. As both an upscale Old Town restaurant and the only place pouring the family's estate wines, it works equally well as a tasting stop, a long lunch or a destination dinner.
