About Donkey & Goat Winery

Donkey & Goat is Berkeley's natural-wine pioneer: Jared and Tracey Brandt, trained in France's Rhone with natural-wine eminence Eric Texier, opened their urban winery in 2004 and made it a West Coast reference for low-intervention winemaking, native ferments, no additives, unfined and unfiltered, from organic Sierra and North Coast vineyards.

The city tasting room's cult following predates the natural boom the Brandts helped start. Urban, principled and first.

The Brandts' Berkeley original: Texier-trained natural winemaking, the urban West Coast reference since 2004.
