About Dyer Vineyard
Bill and Dawnine Dyer planted their Diamond Mountain District vineyard in 1996, drawing on more than a century of combined winemaking experience: Bill rose from cellar worker to winemaker at Sterling Vineyards by 1985, while Dawnine spent 25 years as winemaker at Domaine Chandon. The estate's rocky volcanic soils are farmed for two wines, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
Bill Dyer passed away on April 18, 2026, and Dawnine Dyer continues to steward the vineyard and winery he helped build. The label artwork, inspired by a 1998 trip to Tsurphu Monastery in Tibet, depicts the Diamond Mountains referenced in Buddhist scripture.
