About Eberle Winery
Eberle Winery at 3810 Highway 46 East is one of Paso Robles' founding modern wine estates, established by Gary Eberle in 1979. Gary Eberle is widely credited as one of the fathers of the modern Paso Robles wine industry, and the Highway 46 East estate has been producing consistent quality wines for nearly five decades.
The estate's most distinctive feature is its underground barrel caves, 16,000 square feet carved into the hillside below the winery, maintained at constant temperature and humidity. Daily cave tours provide one of the most authentic and memorable winery experiences on the Central Coast, combining education about barrel aging with the dramatic visual of thousands of barrels disappearing into carved limestone corridors. Cabernet Sauvignon is the flagship.
Perhaps most remarkably, Eberle offers its standard tasting at no charge, complimentary, with walk-ins welcome daily. The combination of outstanding value, cave tours, and genuine wine quality has made Eberle one of the most visited and beloved estates in the entire Paso Robles wine region.
