About Elk Cove Vineyards
Elk Cove is one of Oregon's oldest family-owned wineries: Pat and Joe Campbell planted their Gaston-area valley in 1974, naming it for the Roosevelt elk that winter there, and son Adam Campbell has long led the winemaking across a family of estate vineyards, Mount Richmond, La Boheme, Goodrich and more, spanning the northern Willamette's best hillsides.
Alongside celebrated single-vineyard Pinot Noirs, the house keeps faith with aromatic whites, its estate Riesling and Pinot Blanc quietly excellent, and five decades of continuous family ownership stand increasingly rare. The elk still visit; the Campbells still farm.
