About Fiadh Ruadh
Fiadh Ruadh — Gaelic for 'wild red deer' — is a limited-production Napa Valley project creating Cabernet Sauvignon and red blends that honor the founder's Celtic heritage while embracing the terroir of Northern California. The label combines Old World reverence for tradition with New World ambition, producing wines of power and nuance from some of the valley's most compelling vineyard sites.
The winemaking philosophy balances tradition and innovation. Fruit is sourced from proven Napa Valley sites and vinified with careful attention to extraction, oak aging, and blending. The Cabernet Sauvignon shows classic varietal character — cassis, graphite, and cedar — while the proprietary red blend introduces complementary varieties for added complexity and texture. All wines are produced in limited quantities.
Fiadh Ruadh pours at their Main Street tasting room in Napa. The Celtic-inspired atmosphere adds a unique dimension to the experience, and the wines deliver on the promise of quality and distinctiveness that the name suggests.
