Five Cities Wine

Five Cities Wine is named for the Five Cities area, the cluster of coastal San Luis Obispo County communities (Pismo Beach, Grover Beach, Arroyo Grande, Shell Beach, and Oceano) that share the Pacific Ocean coastline at the southern end of the county. Naming the winery for this community grouping is a declaration of regional identity: this wine comes from the Five Cities area, made for and by people who live in this specific coastal California geography.

The Los Osos Valley Road estate produces Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah from Edna Valley and San Luis Obispo County vineyard sources with the accessible, community-oriented character that the community-naming suggests. The Edna Valley's cool maritime climate creates conditions ideal for the kinds of wines that the Five Cities coastal community actually wants to drink.
